Aluminum Window Coatings

Anodized Coating

Anodizing is a chemical process applied to the surface of aluminum. During this process, layers of aluminum oxide slowly form on the aluminum piece. This process creates protective layers on the aluminum, making it resistant to corrosion, moisture, and rust. By selecting the right color, the windows can be harmonized with both the building’s exterior and interior decor.

The super matte finish is a matte coating that focuses on beauty and design, giving the surface a non-glossy, smooth appearance, lending a modern and sleek look to the windows.

This color features a matte surface with a combination of patterns and brushed textures, offering a non-glossy and textured look that is both visually appealing and functional.

This color has a glossy surface with varied patterns and brushed textures. It offers a shiny, textured look that adds a unique appeal and is commonly used in modern designs.

The gloss color has a shiny, polished surface that is bright and attractive, suitable for classic and chic designs.

Electrostatic Powder Coating

Electrostatic powder coatings are a major advancement in the design of aluminum windows. In this process, a layer of dry powder is applied to the aluminum surface, which is then bonded to the surface using heat. These coatings are available in matte, sanded matte, and gloss finishes.

Matte

The matte finish reflects less light, giving the surface a non-glossy appearance, making it ideal for simple designs. It is also more affordable than gloss finishes. While it shares a non-glossy appearance with matte finishes, sanded matte provides a velvety and smooth texture.

Sanded Matte

This color, like matte, has a non-glossy appearance and reflects less light. However, unlike standard matte, the sanded matte finish creates a velvety and smooth texture.

Gloss

Gloss coatings reflect more light and are brighter, making them ideal for spaces that require an eye-catching appearance.

Decoral Coating

Decoral is a coating method used for aluminum windows. These colors are produced in powder form and, after spraying and melting in the furnace, bond to the surface of the window. Once cooled, they create a durable coating that resembles wood.

This coating is inspired by the beauty and durability of dark wood. Using advanced technology, the texture and color of dark wood are precisely transferred onto the aluminum surface, creating a natural and appealing look.

This coating is inspired by the color and texture of light wood. It brings the warm and inviting feel of light wood to aluminum windows, making it perfect for modern and bright décor.

Designed with inspiration from the elegance and authenticity of classic dark wood, this coating’s natural texture and dark hue give the space a sense of durability and tradition.

This light wood coating, inspired by classic light woods, creates a traditional and inviting appearance. The natural texture and bright color of this finish add a sense of lightness and tranquility to the space.

These finishes, inspired by the beauty and variety of natural wood, are crafted with advanced technology, precisely transferring the texture and color of natural wood onto the aluminum surface, creating a unique and attractive appearance.

Types of Aluminum Window Openings

Single-Action Window
Turn Window

The single-action or casement window is one of the simplest and most commonly used types of windows in many buildings. This window type has a vertical axis on which the opening rotates and can open up to 180 degrees. Single-action windows can be produced and installed in various sizes and types. For example, you can use single-action windows in geometric, arched, classic, or combined shapes. You can also choose single-action windows with one or two sashes.

Tilt and Turn Window
Tilt & Turn Window

A tilt and turn window is a double-glazed window that can be opened in two ways with a single handle. In the first mode, the window opens from the side, allowing a 180-degree opening. In the second mode, the window tilts open from the top, providing ventilation without the need to move curtains aside. These windows are equipped with locks on three or four sides of the sash, providing high resistance against impact, natural forces like wind and storms, and also against burglary and theft.

Tilt and Turn Window with Concealed Hinges
Tilt & Turn With Hidden Hinge Window

These windows have a handle that allows you to open them in two modes, just like the standard tilt and turn window. In this design, however, the hardware and hinges are concealed beneath the sash or opening, giving the window a more elegant and modern appearance. Additionally, tilt and turn windows with concealed hinges offer more adjustment and fine-tuning options compared to regular tilt and turn windows. If the window becomes misaligned, you can easily adjust the hardware to restore it to its original state, giving the window a longer lifespan and reducing the need for servicing and repairs.

Tilt-First Tilt and Turn Window
Tilt & Turn Tilt First Window

The tilt-first tilt and turn window is a type of double-glazed window that can be opened in two modes with a single handle. However, the key difference with this window is that in the first mode, the window tilts open (Tilt, and in the second mode, it opens fully (Turn).

French Window
French Window

French windows not only add a special beauty to your home but also offer great functionality. These windows consist of two adjoining windows that open from the center without a vertical mullion between them, providing an unobstructed view of the outside. If you enjoy scenic views of nature or the city, these windows are a perfect choice. Additionally, they can serve as emergency exits when necessary.

Horizontally Tilted Window
Tilt Window

The horizontally tilted (awning) window is one of the modern types of windows that has gained popularity for its functionality and ease of use. These windows are made from a UPVC frame and a single-sash opening attached to the frame with hinges or pivots on one side. They can tilt open from the top or bottom, creating an attractive architectural feature, and are ideal for air ventilation and energy efficiency.

Vertically Tilted Window
Tilt Only Window

These windows are almost identical to horizontally tilted windows, with the only difference being that the handle is positioned on the vertical side of the opening. All other features and functionalities remain the same as the horizontally tilted windows.

Tilt-and-Slide (Volkswagen) Sliding Window
Tilt & Slide Window

The tilt-and-slide window is a smart blend of style and functionality. This technology allows you to easily and quickly switch the window between a tilt-open and slide mode. In tilt mode, the window opens from the top, providing ventilation, while the slide mode offers wider visibility and a stronger connection to the outdoors. Thanks to the locks in this type of opening mechanism, it achieves an excellent level of insulation.

Pivot Window

Pivot windows, with their unique and distinctive design, rotate around a horizontal or vertical axis. They are designed to balance their weight evenly on pivot hinges, allowing the window to open and close smoothly with a gentle push.

Single Sliding Window
Single Sliding Window

The single-rail aluminum sliding window is a modern and efficient system designed for spaces that require proper ventilation and easy access. This window slides along a single track and, unlike hinged windows, does not occupy extra space when opening or closing, making it ideal for rooms and confined areas. The thermal break blade and EPDM gaskets used in this system provide excellent insulation against heat and noise. With its sleek appearance and smooth operation, the single-rail aluminum sliding window is an outstanding choice for modern environments, suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Double Sliding Window
Double Sliding Window

The sliding window, with horizontal movement of the openings across each other, provides more open space. You can enjoy natural light and proper ventilation by simply opening the windows. The double-glazed sliding window, with its slim frames and large glass panes, allows you to enjoy the view outside your room. With a simple motion, you can open or close the windows and access your balcony, terrace, or yard. The double-glazed sliding window, equipped with double-glazed glass and weather stripping, prevents noise, dust, and heat from entering your room. Aluminum sliding windows are manufactured using advanced and precise technology. First, the profiles of the frame and sash are cut and welded with special machinery. Then, the hardware such as rollers, espagnolette, handles, and rails are installed onto the profiles.

Aluminum Window Hinge and Handle Colors

The hinges and handles of aluminum windows play an important role not only in aesthetics but also in function and durability. Hinges are the main mechanical components that allow windows to open and close smoothly. Choosing high-quality, durable hinges enhances the longevity and efficiency of the windows. Handles, in addition to facilitating window operation, can serve as a prominent design element. Ergonomic and stylish handles not only make windows easier to use but also add visual appeal to the space. Choosing the right color for aluminum window hinges and handles can enhance the beauty and harmony of your interior space.
